I am the owner of Carewell Counselling, and a psychodynamic counsellor accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) to offer short, medium and long-term therapy to individuals and couples.

I also offer Psychodynamic and Integrative clinical supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors, and am an accredited IAPT/ NHS CTfD (Couples Therapy for Depression) practitioner, having trained at London’s Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships to offer 20-week courses of therapy for couples struggling to manage depression in one or both partners.

In therapy, we will work together to help you resolve difficulties and find your way ahead by exploring your true feelings about your life, `unpacking’ baggage you have been carrying from the past, and understanding the experiences and unconscious processes which have shaped you into the unique individual you are today.

In the safe, comfortable and confidential space of my counselling room (pictured), I will guide you through a gentle process of self-discovery and sustainable change which will help enhance your life, improve your relationships, and increase your hope and prospects for the future.

I hope you will find answers to many of your questions here. If you would like to discuss your needs further and / or book an initial appointment, you can contact me on the phone number or email below.

Where to find us

Carewell Counselling is based in Great Waldingfield, Suffolk (CO10), a 10-minute drive from Sudbury (which has its own railway station, with links to Colchester, Chelmsford and other Essex stations).

The villages of Lavenham and Long Melford are equally close, while Colchester, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds are approximately 30 minutes away by car, and Chelmsford is a 50 minute drive away.

NB: While meeting in the room is best, I do offer online and telephone sessions for clients who live further away and need more flexible arrangements.
